The Netflix series Locke & Key is preparing the second season of the show. The series is loosely based on the graphic novel of the same name by Gabriel Rodríguez and Joe Hill. Hill is the son of the horror master Stephen King, and he knows horror stories well.

In ‘Locke and Key’, Darby Stanchfield plays Nina Locke along with Connor Jessup, Emilia Jones and Jackson Robert Scott as Nina’s children, Tyler, Kinsey and Bode respectively. The rest of the main cast consists of Petrice Jones as Scot Cavendish, a film student at Matheson Academy. Laysla De Oliveira – Echo/Dodge, The Devil Woman; Griffin Gluck as Gabe, a freshman at Matheson Academy.
Season 2, all the main protagonists are ready to reprise their roles. Aaron Ashmore (Duncan Locke) and Halia Jones (Eden Hawkins), who appear in recurring roles in Season 1, have been promoted to a regular series series. New faces for the season 2 cast include Brendan Hines as Josh Bennett, a charismatic new history teacher at Matheson Academy, and Liyou Abere as Amie Bennett, Bode’s friend.

The second season follows the children of the Locke family as they learn the responsibilities of being the keepers of the keys. The group was also able to find a way to rescue Eli from the void. We could potentially see the introduction of more keys that unlock new doors.
