Some aspects of the birth process are very beautiful. But the part where the husband squeezes blood from his wife’s dirty blanket and drinks it from a small bathroom cup is not like that.
But that’s Wednesday’s episode. American Horror Story: Dual Features It begins with the bitter and sweet arrival of Harry and Doris.
blood bag baby. Harry reassured his worried wife. “From now on we will be great.” (Again, I can’t stress this enough. He drank her dirty linen! far From great!)
As expected, the situation only worsens for the Gardner family. Just like when Doris says she seems dead and Harry replies, “No.” Or when Doris came in while Alma sucked her brother’s blood from his feet. things are offensive Currently not normal.
But if you are looking for repentance, do not look to Alma. That little HBIC prides itself on playing so well after drinking the baby’s blood, and doesn’t care if the mother goes crazy. “I still don’t understand why I keep her around,” Alma says. “We’re trying to do something good, Dad. People like her like to spend the day. We want to live deeply.” (Now, the tortured artist metaphor is maple syrup for flapjacks on the show. really Fat.)
Ursula convinces Doris that she dreams of all her ordeal, but she also throws in some casual body shame. But when Doris saw tooth marks on the baby’s leg, her plan backfired. Alma tells Doris everything so that Doris is not satisfied with more lies. She even gives her mother a pill. Doris adamantly refuses, at least at first. After Holden reads Doris’s “Basic Pottery Barn Bulls-t” designs for dirt, Alma is convinced that taking her pills isn’t such a bad idea.
Unfortunately, Doris soon finds out that she is not as talented as her husband and daughter. Damn, a newborn baby could have built a better house than her. In any case, Doris’ body soon begins to turn into, as Holden puts it, “one of those pale, strange, homeless people who wear couture in the AIDS era.” and she ~ no Dress well.
Harry can stop Doris from killing his new blood supply. To make matters worse, Alma admits that she and Ursula intentionally gave Doris a pill, even knowing that Doris was not talented enough to make it work. (Seriously that little girl is absolute) wild. I know I shouldn’t support her, but I’m also afraid to not.) As Harry and Alma watch Doris 2.0 roam the streets with excessive laughter, the cunning Ursula spits out a wise word. It is more tragic, pathetic, and sadder than a person without talent tries to succeed in the world.” (I apologize. that What lessons can we learn from this?)
The episode ends with Ursula taking Alma to a meeting with a chemist, hoping that her little girl’s charm can make a deal. (Perhaps Ursula shouldn’t mention Alma’s taste for rabbits and babies for the sake of safety.) Along the way, they encounter Doris, who is completely turned off by zombies, and, frankly, more sad than terrifying.
To talk about sad and scary things, we have to talk about Mickey and Karen. The episode now begins with finding the first person responsible for the full creation. speed racer Cinematic Universe (dream!), but the latter was by no means low. But to prove that things can always get worse, Belle asks Karen to pick up the baby from the Gardners.
Karen refuses and persuades Mickey to help “rescue” the baby, but the plan is thwarted when she meets Doris during her transformation. They manage to escape, but soon swarms of leeches surround poor Karen on the street. Mickey promises to protect him if he takes the pill, and drops it if he refuses. “I love you, Karen.” he tells her ‘You are my muse. You will be the protagonist of every story I write.” This means his last farewell. She’s on drugs because he’s left her to be eaten by an incompetent mass!
Optimistic viewers will imagine a scenario in which Karen reaches her full potential and travels to Los Angeles with Mickey and takes Hollywood by storm. but for a long time american horror story Viewers are realists now and we know better. So I was a little surprised to see Karen ripped Mickey’s neck off the beach, cut off her own wrist and walked into the sea.
To borrow the great Avril Lavigne, their happy ending is so good!
